At Venomline we are home to several of the Top Pocket Bully Studs in the World. We also can still remember what it was like when we first started out. Paying for a well known Stud was a huge risk. We didn’t have a few grand to pay for a Stud and just “hope” that it worked out. But we still tried, and unfortunately our female didn’t take.
When we went to contact the Stud Owner we were told that we would have to pay the stud fee AGAIN to repeat an unsuccessful attempt. This set our program and vision back over a year. We paid the Stud Fee, didn’t have any puppies and were told that we were "shit out of luck.”

WHAT IF MY FEMALE GOES INTO HEAT AND I CAN'T GET AHOLD OF VENOMLINE?
There’s nothing worse than investing several thousand dollars to further your kennel’s vision, having your female go into season (heat) and then not being able to get in touch with the Stud Owner. You won’t have to worry about that with us. When you reserve one of our Pocket Bully Studs we are basically on call for you.
We take your investment seriously, and will always respond the same-day. We will help you understand how to understand progesterone results and also with timing the breeding so the entire process is stress free. All you have to do is begin progesterone testing on day 4 or 5 of heat and report the results.
PROGESTERONE TESTING
We require progesterone testing to determine your females optimal breeding days. If you do not understand the results, we will help you both understand the #'s and how to properly time the breeding.
Progesterone testing is not a "one and done" and most of the time it will require several tests. Please do not wait too long to begin testing or skip long intervals between tests. It is your job to stay on top of it. Please do not make a lack of preparation become our emergency.
We will have the Stud collected the day before your female is to scheduled to be bred, and semen shipped overnight to your vet for the AI (Artificial Insemination) The shipment will arrive by 11:30am the following day and you will also receive a Tracking # to track the shipment.
SHIPPING
Staying on top of progesterone testing gives us a heads up on when you will need us to ship. We need to know by 8pm ET the night before that we will be going in for collection and shipping the following day.
By testing regularly, we will know several days before you need semen shipped and we will be ready. We cover the collection & prep, Fed Ex overnight cost is $350 due before shipping date.
DO YOU SHIP FRESH CHILLED OR FROZEN SEMEN?
We typically send fresh chilled semen unless frozen is requested. But, we can send both. For domestic Customers (within the U.S.) we recommend using fresh chilled unless storing for use at a later date. We use 5-7 day extender to extend life of semen during transport.
We have frozen semen stored and ready for to Ship Worldwide. For ClIents using frozen semen, the best method is surgical insemination. Surgical AI should be the only method used with frozen semen.
FINDING THE BEST BREEDING DAYS
We walk our customers through timing the breeding, progesterone testing and best methods of Artificial Insemination for the vet to perform. We make the entire stud process simple and stress free.
Our Customers leave with much better understanding on how the stud process works: interpreting progesterone results, different types of AI's, best breeding days, proper timing and best procedure based on progesteone results ffor the highest % chance at a successful breeding.

WHAT TYPES OF ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION (AI'S) ARE THERE? WHAT METHOD DO YOU RECOMMEND?
THERE ARE 3 COMMON METHODS OF ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION
1. REGULAR AI
2. TRANSCERVICAL INSEMINATION (TCI)
3. SURGICAL INSEMINATION (SURGICAL AI)
All 3 methods will work, but when shipped in a stud in, we recommend Surgical Insemination (Surgical AI) or transcervical insemination (TCI).
Surgical Insemination timed correctly gives the highest % of success, but TCI isn't far behind. TCI refers to a technique in which an endoscope is used to locate the cervix and pass a catheter through for intrauterine insemination without the need for surgery.
Both methods have a higher % of success when using shipped semen.
Ask your vet about the methods that they recommend and are experienced with. We have had success with regular AI as well, but if your vet has options, it can be helpful to ask.
THE FOLLOW UP:
Confirmation/Unsuccessful Breeding/ Only 1-2 Pups
Let us know when your female is confirmed and will be having her pups, we’d love to show them off! We will post the litter on our Facebook page and social media outlets. This will help with sales, and getting premium prices for your pups while also building your kennel’s following.
My Female Didn’t Take (Get Pregnant)
If for some reason your female didn’t take.. let’s have a conversation and decide what to do next. We will discuss whether you would like to try again during next heat or apply the Stud credit towards an available puppy or upcoming litter.
HOW MANY PUPS ARE CONSIDERED A LITTER?
3 or more pups is considered a litter. If the female only had 2 pups, you keep the Stud Credit to use again. This is another way we prove to our Customers that we take their investment seriously and want them to succeed.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN AN AMERICAN BULLY STUD?

Many of the “top studs” make their living off of one or two glamor shots, and even more often photos of the so called best Studs are photoshopped. This unfortunately is even more prevalent in the exotic community.
There are still great studs to choose from in both the American Bully & Exotic bully community, but ask for video instead of relying solely on a photo that is often photoshopped. The ideal scenario is going to see the Stud in person, but often times that isn’t possible. In that case, you’ll want to ask for video (longer than a 10 second clip) and photos. Preferably photos that are unedited, or even better, taken at a Show.
Breeders with Top Studs that aren’t hiding anything or using photoshop to sell Stud Credits will be proud to show off their dogs, not afraid of bringing them out in Public.
